"It will all be over soon, and then something else will take it’s place. Like waves, says the common metaphor. From dust to dust, says a simplified version of complicated philosophy. Hmmmz Hmmmz, says the Big Bang, still echoing quietly through everything it created. Let us return, one last time, before it, you, or anything else ends, to the September Monologues."

Anonymous said: I think my headcanon pre-Carlos Cecil is that, despite seeming to know all the goings-on around town and knowing more about the people than he should, he had a tendency to shut everyone out of his life by hiding in his work because he was afraid of people entering his life only to leave him later. (Wow that was more detailed and sad than I'd meant it to be)
Yesss, you see, I think this is truly the point. Because, lets think about his track record- he has a mother who has apparently disappeared, who didn’t even seem to really acknowledge him when she was there, a brother he can’t even remember, Old Woman Josie who was possibly a mother figure to him who disappeared too. It’s a weird one, because lots of people seem to like/talk to Cecil, but does he really mention that many friends? I mean, he does have some, obviously, but he strikes me as quite a lonely person. I think Carlos being a hero has helped him a lot, actually, because he was raised believing that you shouldn’t step out of place and challenge authority, but Carlos and Tamika and Dana all taught him that sometimes fighting is necessary. It’s all a very interesting development.
hey i know i have a lot of ASD friends for whom autoplay is a really awful thing so here is a really nice option, stay safe friends
